Connect a LinkedIn account
Add your first sender: how the secure connection flow works, what happens after connection, and how account health is protected.
Every campaign in Neuraware sends from one or more senders — LinkedIn accounts connected to your workspace. This page explains how connecting an account works and what Neuraware does to protect it.
How the connection flow works
You connect a LinkedIn account through a guided, secure connection flow inside the app. The account owner completes the connection themselves: they authenticate in a dedicated window, including any verification LinkedIn asks for (such as a two-factor code or an in-app confirmation).
Credentials are handled inside that secure flow — they are not stored by Neuraware. This matters especially for agencies: your clients' team members can connect their own accounts without ever sharing a password with you.
Each connected account also runs from a stable, dedicated connection environment aligned with its usual location, so its activity doesn't appear to jump between places.
After connecting: the account health view
Once an account is connected, it appears in your workspace with its live status:
- Connection status — whether the account is connected and able to send.
- Daily activity — how much of the account's daily allowance has been used.
- Ramp-up phase — where a recently connected account stands on its gradual volume increase.
Ramp-up: new accounts start slow
A freshly connected account does not start at full volume. Neuraware begins at a reduced level of activity and increases it gradually over several weeks. This mirrors how a person naturally builds up activity and protects accounts with a short history — the ones most vulnerable to restrictions.
You don't need to configure anything for this: it is the default.
If an account disconnects
LinkedIn sessions can end for many reasons — a password change, a security checkpoint, an expired session. When that happens:
- all campaigns using that account pause automatically and immediately;
- you are notified, with instructions to reconnect;
- reconnection uses the same secure flow as the initial connection;
- other senders in the campaign are unaffected and continue normally.
Good practices
- Connect accounts that are genuinely active and belong to the person doing the outreach.
- Don't run other automation tools on an account connected to Neuraware — overlapping tools create erratic activity patterns and make problems impossible to diagnose.
- If an account receives a warning from LinkedIn, let it rest before resuming, and review the campaign's targeting before restarting.
